Had a bad draft? Did that surefire stud Running Back switch up positions on you? Maybe that sleeper pick never woke up?

All the problems that plague traditional Fantasy Football are fixed with the new fast paced and fun way to play Fantasy Football , Draftduels!

Pick a different roster of the best NSFL players every game week and pit yourself against everyone else as your teams battle it out for football supremacy. That’s right, you’re not just in your everyday 12-man league, you’re playing against the whole forum!

Each week choose to buy into either a 250k or 1Mil tournament. Each player has a limit of 5 entries per tournament for the week. The higher the stakes, the higher the reward when you come out on top!

As a special offer to celebrate the introduction of Draft Duels, we are offering free to enter tournaments for the Season Three preseason. Each week of the preseason $500k will be up for grabs before Draft Duels transitions into pay to enter tournaments in time for the Season Three kickoff!

Stay updated with Draft Duels as details are released by checking out our forum, it's not much to look at now but soon enough it will be jam packed with fantasy football action!

Yesterday I posted an announcement that mentioned some new forums coming to graphics, and I am pleased to say that they are all up and running not even 24 hours later!

We have GFX Battles, Weekly GFX Contest, and the Tutorial forums all ready to go for your GFX creating pleasure.

All the information you need to know about these new additions is in each forums "Guide" section, and I highly recommend that you go and check out what they have to offer.

Thanks a bunch!

Remember those old changes earlier this week? Well guess what, we have new and improved changes! Let me get right into it.

The old penalty system treated GFX in a very black and white fashion when in all actuality GFX is not simple enough to allow an overarching penalty system to work. This is why the old penalty system is being removed, and we are going to handle any perceived issues on a case by case basis. We are going focus on working with the creator to improve rather than just hitting them with a standard penalty or a warning. This does not mean that there are no more penalties, just that the penalty system is no longer an overarching system, allowing for better conformity with how different from user to user GFX is.

The base pay for GFX will not be changing. We will also be introducing a bonus system. There will be a 250k bonus for high quality, and a 150k bonus for extremely high effort and creativity. These bonuses will be per piece. These will be based on the graders discretion, but believe me when I say that the graders will be unbiased when making these decisions. Although the bonus amounts may seem small, over the course of the season these bonuses will make a considerable difference for those who earn them consistently.

You may have noticed that some new subforums have popped up under Graphics. I am very excited to announce the new additions that are coming to Graphics, so let's start with GFX Contests.

GFX contests will be a weekly contest where users will submit a piece, and the community will all vote on which piece is best. Participation will get you 650k, so that someone is at least making the same amount of money that they would had they just submitted the piece as a normal submission. After the votes are tallied, there will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize. 1st place will receive 1mil, 2nd will receive 750k, and 3rd will receive 500k on top of the participation money. The exact rules will be posted in the subforum really soon, I just wanted to introduce the general concept to you all here.

There is also a new tutorials subforum. If you make a quality tutorial for the forum, you can get 1mil for it. While this may seem like a lot of money, know that creating tutorials is hard work, so that money is well-deserved. Additionally this subforum adds a place where users may ask specific questions about creating GFX. We hope that the community gets involved in helping out these users so that we can become as strong of a GFX making community as possible.

The last new thing is a subforum called "Graphics Battles." This is probably the coolest addition in my opinion. Let me explain. A user will go onto the subforum and challenge someone else to a battle. The users will completely decide the terms of the competition themselves. They will decide, themes, deadlines, rewards, and any other aspect of the battle. The community will then vote on which is better and the winner will be declared. Specifics on GFX Battles will be posted soon, I want to give you all a basic outline of what GFX Battles are.

As of now we are not going to be introducing a requested GFX section. It doesn't seem like there are enough GFX related things that one would request to warrant an entire section of Graphics. If in the future there is enough support, we might be able to work on a Requested GFX section being implemented, but again, it just doesn't seem like it deserves an entire subforum as of now.

That about wraps up the changes and additions, please discuss and feel free to ask questions! I believe that we have made changes that will really benefit the community and I look forward to the future of GFX.

Yours Truly,
Xdave, GFX Dictator

So, you want to make better graphics huh? Well you're in the right place! This subforum includes all the resources you need to make graphics like a pro.

Most of the threads here will be tips for programs such as Gimp or Photoshop, these programs are miles ahead of programs such as MS Paint. If you truly want to get on the level of some of the top creators on this site, it is highly recommended that you get one of these programs, or a program similar to them.

If you have any questions about anything specific regarding the creation of graphics, please ask in the "Questions" subforum. After your question has been answered, edit the title to include an asterisk (* <-this guy) so that a grader knows to move the thread into the "Answered Questions" subforum. Any user can answer questions, and if you think that you can help out someone else, please do!

If you are interested in creating a tutorial for this subforum, contact either xdave2456 or tlk742 to let them know that you are interested in making a tutorial. If you make your tutorial well, you will be paid a handsome $1,000,000 for your contribution. Please title all tutorials with both the topic and the program of your tutorial, as well as if it is a video or image based tutorial. EX. "Shading in Gimp, Image Based"

I hope this forum gives you all the resources you need to make the best graphics that you can!
