But Im eyeing a change in pace.

What should I make?

I was thinking WR.

So as we head into the leagues 3rd entry draft, the compositions of teams have been becoming more and more clear as to strengths and weaknesses. This is probably one of the more critical drafts for some teams to address those needs and improve their positions of weakness moving forward. So without anymore hesitation lets start the break down of it all.

**I will be updating this as I go so you all have something to 'refresh' and look forward too**

Baltimore Hawks

Team Needs

Offensive Line: Medium
Defensive Tackle: Medium
Defensive end: None
Corner Back: Low
Line Backer: Low
Tight End: Critical
Safety: High
Wide Receiver: Low
Running Back: Low
Quarter Back: None
Kicking/ Punter: None

Baltimore heads into this draft with a few holes still to address as a team. The target for them should be pretty easy to narrow down though. With a critical need at the TE position, they may target one of the 4 TE's on the board in hopes one of them can pay off and be the active they need. With that being maybe a bit of a stretch with their 1st round selection they might look elsewhere. They do have a need at the DT and OL positions still with some holes to fill as well as the Safety positions.

Prediction: DT or OL taken with their 1st

Colorado Yeti

Team Needs

Offensive Line: High
Defensive Tackle: Critical
Defensive end: None
Corner Back: Low
Line Backer: None
Tight End: Low
Safety: Low
Wide Receiver: Low
Running Back: None
Quarter Back: None
Kicking/ Punter: None

The Yeti have done a pretty great job so far building a very evenly active team. With not a lot of massive glaring holes in their line up, their targets for this draft become pretty apparent. Having no active DT and only really 2 active OL member makes their goals for this draft pretty clear. There are other places they could address, but they are not the top priorities currently.

Prediction: OL or DT taken with their 1st

Philidelphia Liberty

Team Needs

Offensive Line: Medium
Defensive Tackle: Low
Defensive end: Low
Corner Back: Low
Line Backer: Low
Tight End: None
Safety: None
Wide Receiver: Low
Running Back: Low
Quarter Back: Medium
Kicking/ Punter: None

The Liberty have done a rather solid job filling out what roster spots they can so far with a lot of low needs, BUT those needs are in a lot of categories. Like a lot of teams across the league the need for a solid OL is still there and should be addressed. The Liberty seemed to be okay at the QB position but after the conclusion of this season, they may not be as good as many thought with what appears to be no real driving force at the position for them.

Predictions: With no 1st round selection this season, look for them to target most likely a BPA, but wouldnt be surprised to see them try and targer a QB or OL

Yellowknife Wraiths

Team Needs

Offensive Line: Low
Defensive Tackle: Medium
Defensive end: High
Corner Back: Low
Line Backer: Low
Tight End: None
Safety: None
Wide Receiver: Low
Running Back: None
Quarter Back: None
Kicking/ Punter: None

The Wraiths have a lot of strong members at almost every position, so it's no surprise they have so little actual needs across the board. The only down side is a lot of the position which require multiple actives they have 1 strong active + a decent inactive. This isn't a massive deal as the league is still young and their inactives are better than some teams comparisons at those positions, but we are looking at overall depth.

Predictions: Picking at the #3 spot, I could see them targeting a DE with that pick, but wouldn't be surprised to see them nab a DT instead

Arizone Outlaws

Team Needs

Offensive Line: Low
Defensive Tackle: Medium
Defensive end: None
Corner Back: Medium
Line Backer: None
Tight End: Low
Safety: None
Wide Receiver: None
Running Back: None
Quarter Back: None
Kicking/ Punter: None

Probably the easiest team to review is the Outlaws. With not real major glaring weaknesses across the board they have the luxury of both starting and ending the 1st round this draft. A team that really only has 2 needs that should be immediately addressed their targets for the draft should be pretty straight forward with their 1st overall selection more than likely being a DT pick up. We may yet see them trade one of their 3 top tier LB's and grab what seems to be the consensus #1 pick in Boggs, but we have yet to see the pick move.

Predictions: DT or Move an older LB before pick is made and Boggs taken.

Las Vegas Legion

Team Needs

Offensive Line: High
Defensive Tackle: Medium
Defensive end: High
Corner Back: Low
Line Backer: Medium
Tight End: High
Safety: High
Wide Receiver: Low
Running Back: None
Quarter Back: None
Kicking/ Punter: Critical

What. A. Mess. I understand the Legion are an expansion team, but yeesh. A draft that they need to at least have 1 or 2 top picks at least they have nothing available. The team only really has its RB/ QB situation currently sitting in a good light with CB and WR not looking the worst either. After that. Holy. The ship is sinking and there isn't enough plugs to stop it

Predictions: BPA at any and all positions they can

Orange County Otters

Team Needs

Offensive Line: Low
Defensive Tackle: Low
Defensive end: Low
Corner Back: None
Line Backer: Low
Tight End: None
Safety: None
Wide Receiver: Low
Running Back: None
Quarter Back:None
Kicking/ Punter: Critical

A team that has a few areas to fill, but nothing for the Otters is even close to being an immediate need except one position. Kicker/ Punter. With 1 hole being left to fill one would think the Otters would take the BPA for their position of need and take a Kicker with their 1st and not risk being potentially stuck with a gamble again moving forward. Word on the street is they are leaning towards patience then addressing their 1 true need though.

Predictions: BPA available at a Low need position with 1st rounder, will wait to later to get a K/P

San Jose Sabercats
Team Needs

Offensive Line: Low
Defensive Tackle: Low
Defensive end: Medium
Corner Back: Medium
Line Backer: High
Tight End: Medium
Safety: None
Wide Receiver: Low
Running Back: Low
Quarter Back: Low
Kicking/ Punter: Critical

The Saber cats have 2 picks in the top 5, and their overall roster has some strength across the board. They still have some hole that need to be addressed and currently just don't have the picks to cover them all, BUT I feel they should be able to grab 2 players that will help change the status of at least 2 categories.

Predictions: They will take a player they may feel go later with the #2 Pick - Most likely a LB - DT - Pick #5 will be a flat BPA

Rabidsponges 1st Round Shake down

1st - http://i.imgur.com/hdESSXu.png Godfrey King - DT
- Baring no crazy trades, position changes etc. I fully expect the Outlaws to address their one position of need at DT and take King. He gives them immediate security at that position and plugs one of the very few holes that the team had to begin with on their way to make a dynasty and hope for that threepeat.

2nd - http://i.imgur.com/hpWjDeS.png Brice Boggs - LB
- The Sabercats get their star for the LB position and Boggs immediately becomes the LB on the roster and easily one of the most promising players the franchise has had to this point. The Sabercats are doing back flips with this pick and Boggs will be happy with his #1 spot in his position.

3rd - http://i.imgur.com/5sMCmtf.png J.D. Boom - DE
- The wraiths one position of major need get filled with the pick in Boom. Much like Boggs he immediately becomes the best player at the position for the wraiths as they too are doing back flips with this pick up to help a position of dire need.

4th - http://i.imgur.com/aVlKvow.png Antonio Sandoval- OL
- Returning to the team he was a DFA with, both player and the team get what they want as the Yeti add a 3rd member to the D line who is over 100 TPE which has them feeling more confident heading into next season as they should be able to shelter their QB more effectively.

5th - http://i.imgur.com/hpWjDeS.png Iyah Blewitt - K/P
- Maybe a bit of a surprise the sabercats take a K/P at #5. Which other options on the table, they want to make sure they lock down the position with an active player and they get just that. With their first 2 picks they knock it out of the park already making themselves a better team for next season.

6th - http://imgur.com/LWhJhPh.png Trey Willie - WR
- With the best option at K/P taken off the board, the Otters will be patient now and instead nab themsevles a WR to round out the position and have 1 less area to worry about.

7th - http://imgur.com/Gc5BmXW.png Ricardo Sandoval - DT
- With no real outstanding TE on the board for the Hawks to look at they go elsewhere to get what they need and nab themsevles a DT to make that position something they can be happy with again and move forward targetting other positions of need.

8th - http://i.imgur.com/hdESSXu.png Franklin Harris Jr. - CB
- Having the luxury of already addressing their main position of need, the Outlaws take a stab at the last spot they need filled with active members and grab themselves a 2nd CB to finish out the 1st round.
